UPT Ma’had Al-Jami’ah UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta houses 6 (six) Mabna or Buildings (in Indonesian). Each Mabna is led by a caretaker who is also a lecturer at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.

Previously there was a dualism of terms, namely Asrama and Ma’had. However, as it developed, these terms were combined into Ma’had Al-Jami’ah.
